Turbidity Meter PCCHECKIT ?    
     
The PCCHECKIT ?is designed as a compact, easy to use instrument to determine turbidity fast and accurate. A light emitting diode (LED) is used as a light source with a photodetector positioned to detect light scattered by a sample at 90?to the incident beam. The LED is characterised by maximum long-term stability and monochromatic light emission with minimum power input. The sample chamber (the most critical part of any photometer) is fully sealed, so no water can penetrate into the electronic components.

The size of the sample chamber ensures easy cleaning of the light entry surfaces. The PCCHECKIT ?may be used as test equipment with software-based calibration adjustment facilities.

Battery operation makes the unit suitable for both mobile use and laboratory applications. The PCCHECKIT ?is supplied as a fully functional unit complete with accessories and calibration standards in a handy case.

CHECKIT    
     

Lovibond CHECKIT are a range of easy to use colorimetric test kits for analysis of water samples. The CHECKIT unit functions as both sample container and comparator in a compact unit so no test tubes are required. Lovibond tablet reagents are added to a measured sample of water in the unit and the resulting sample colour is then compared with the front panel to obtain the concentration of the parameter under test.

Each kit is supplied in a compact, robust plastic box complete with sufficient Lovibond ?tablets reagents for an average of 30 tests, stirring rod, cleaning brush and full step by step instructions.

MINIKIT    
     

Lovibond MINIKITs are a range of easy to use, inexpensive test kits for single parameter water analysis. Most MINIKITs employ the titrimetric "tablet count" method, where tests are carried out by simply adding tablet reagents, one at a time, to a measured sample of water until a prescribed colour change takes place. The number of tablets used is then applied to a simple formula in order to calculate the concentration of the parameter under test.

The cyanuric acid and high range sulphate MINIKITs rely on a turbidity test as opposed to a colour change. The MINIKIT range also includes a hardness "yes / no" test where, after adding a sin-gle reagent tablet, the colour of the sample will indicate whether a certain level of hardness is exceeded or not.

There are more than 400 different Lovibond discs available for colorimetric analysis and for classification of specific products. Each disc contains guaranteed non fading glass standards. For each disc there is a detailed method for carrying out the colorimetric test, incorporating all technical and chemical information necessary.
